EC0-350 is the exam code for “Ethical Hacking and Countermeasures”. On passing the EC0-350 exam, EC-Council Certification will verify that the successful candidates has the essential knowledge and abilities which are required to scan, test, hack and secure their own systems, in-depth knowledge and practical experience with the current essential security systems and Intrusion Detection, Policy Creation, Social Engineering, DDoS Attacks, Buffer Overflows and Virus Creation. The successful candidates will also be awarded credit for the EC-Council CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) certification as the EC0-350 exam is a required exam for that EC-Council certification. The EC0-350 study guide and EC0-350 study notes should include the content from the official EC-Council Ethical Hacking and Countermeasures course.

The EC0-350 Ethical Hacking and Countermeasures is fairly moderate and has a difficulty rating of about 6 out of 10. This exam consists of between 125 multiple-choice, simulation-based, fill-in-all-of-the-blank-questions, with multiple-choice single answer, multiple-choice various answers, and drag-and-drop questions which you must answer within 180 minutes.

You can sit for the EC0-350 exam by booking for it at any of the Thomson Prometric or Pearson VUE test centers at any location throughout the world. The cost of booking the exam is 250 USD. You should do the booking some time in advance to ensure availability.
