On passing the NS0-131 exam, Network Appliance Certification will verify that the successful candidates has the essential knowledge and abilities which are required to implement Clustered Failover and SyncMirror to ensure continuous data availability and rapid recovery of data in the event of a disaster, and use the SnapMirror, SnapRestore, and SnapVault products to manage and protect mission-critical data and performing in-depth support, administrative functions, and performance management for CIFS, NFS, and FCP for SCSI or iSCSI for TCP/IP protocols on a NetApp storage appliance running the Data ONTAP operating system in NFS and Windows (CIFS) multiprotocol environments. The successful candidates will also be awarded credit for the NetApp Certified Expert (NACE) certification as the NS0-131 exam is a required exam for that Network Appliance certification. The NS0-131 study guide and NS0-131 study notes should include the content from the official Network Appliance Data Protection Solutions course.

The NS0-131 Data Protection is fairly moderte and has a difficulty rating of about 6 out of 10. This exam consists of between 60 multiple-choice, simulation-based, fill-in-all-of-the-blank-questions, with multiple-choice single answer, multiple-choice various answers, and drag-and-drop questions which you must answer within 120 minutes.
