RCDD exam description

RCDD is the exam code for “Registered Communications Distribution”. On passing the RCDD exam, BISCI Certification will verify that the successful candidates has the essential knowledge and abilities which are required to design experience, with heavy specialization in one or two aspects of distribution design or vendor products (rather than total generic system design). The successful candidates will also be awarded credit for the BICSI's Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification as the RCDD exam is a required exam for that BISCI certification. The RCDD study guide and RCDD study notes should include the content from the official BISCI Telecommunications Distribution Methods Manual (TDMM) course.

RCDD exam details:

The RCDD Registered Communications Distribution is fairly moderate and has a difficulty rating of about 6 out of 10. This exam consists of between 280 multiple-choice, simulation-based, fill-in-all-of-the-blank-questions, with multiple-choice single answer, multiple-choice various answers, and drag-and-drop questions which you must answer within 180 minutes.

You can sit for the RCDD exam by booking for it at any of the Thomson Prometric or Pearson VUE test centers at any location throughout the world. The cost of booking the exam is 495 USD. You should do the booking some time in advance to ensure availability.
