RH302 is the exam code for “RHCE”. On passing the RH302 exam, RedHat Certification will verify that the successful candidates has the essential knowledge and abilities which are required to routine system administration tasks and are evaluated on whether they have met specific objective criteria. The successful candidates will also be awarded credit for the RedHat RHCE (RedHat Certified Engineer) certification as the RH302 exam is a required exam for that RedHat certification. The RH302 study guide and RH302 study notes should include the content from the official RedHat RHCE course.

RH302 exam details:

The RH302 RHCE is fairly moderate and has a difficulty rating of about 6 out of 10. This exam consists of between 60 multiple-choice, simulation-based, fill-in-all-of-the-blank-questions, with multiple-choice single answer, multiple-choice various answers, and drag-and-drop questions which you must answer within 90 minutes.

You can sit for the RH302 exam by booking for it at any of the Thomson Prometric or Pearson VUE test centers at any location throughout the world. The cost of booking the exam is 125 USD. You should do the booking some time in advance to ensure availability.

The successful candidates will also be awarded credit for the RedHat RHCE (RedHat Certified Engineer) certification as the RH302 exam is a required exam for that RedHat certification. After the RHCE certification you can go on to do any of the other certifications from RedHat certification.
